Wistow Gallery Team

Wistow Gallery has been part of the Rural Centre family for over ten years and through that time has always followed the same ethos of ” local” working with a wide range of artists over the years all at different stages of their journey. It is a privilege to take a first collection from a maker who then goes on to exhibit at trade shows where their work is selected by big stores and they become recognised by a wider audience. We are proud to be stockists of local well-known artists Angela Harding, Rosie Made a Thing, and Sue Pryke. We also enjoy being at the start of someone’s journey guiding them gently with pricing, branding and all the other challenges that running a small creative business can bring.

As well as working in the gallery all members of the sales team are artisan makers in their own right. You can find their work for sale in the gallery and they are always happy to talk about their work alongside the other makers.

With our belief in supporting creativity and community, we’re proud to be part of the JUST A CARD campaign. Every purchase, even a simple card, empowers the dreams of talented artists and independent businesses. Find out more about the campaign and get involved here.
